Q. What is the difference between porcelain and bone china?
A. Hard porcelain is strong but chips fairly easily and unless specially treated has an off-white greyish cast.
Bone China is stronger and thinner than hard paste porcelain. It is almost snow white in appearance.
Q. Can I put the china in the dishwasher?
A. Our plain white bone china is extremely durable and will happily withstand dishwashing. With the extra bonus of being plain white there is no pattern to fade.
